Do you find that church is boring?
Are you in the back row snoring?
Would you rather be exploring
life at a full-speed run?
Into our minds the world is drilling
lies like sin is more fulfilling
and that somehow God’s unwilling
to let us have any fun.
But that’s not true at all.
You’ve been designed to have a ball.
Listen now, you’ll hear his call
to know him better every day.
First he made us from the dust,
forgives us though we breach his trust.
To get all he gives we must
stop fighting him along the way.
He wants us at our full potential,
filled with joy that is torrential.
Lean on Christ – that part’s essential.
Be developed from above.
Any time or situation,
he’s not bound by our location,
make your Father your foundation,
he’ll envelop you with love.
You see, eternal life is this:
just knowing God. It’s total bliss.
There’s nothing in the world you’ll miss.
You’ll be fulfilled and be content.
There’s a freedom he’ll be sending
when on God you are depending
and a joy that’s never-ending
knowing God and whom he sent.
