You'll never know when you're halfway there
You'll never know, and you just can't care
It's not measured in miles or gray hair
From this side you cannot gauge.

I failed again to qualify
You cannot earn, why do we try
There's just one way to be justified
Who forever we will praise.

God knows the wisdom in his plans
And how foolish are the plans of man
May I dream nothing other than
Where the Lord has set the stage.

The Lord alone can make straight from bent
Of all the places that you went
Did you think he sent you by accident?
You have a Father who's engaged.

Before you're born, God made you blessed
Won't let you break though you make a mess
And gives you clothes of righteousness
That you can't get on your own.

As long as it is called Today
Just bless your brother in all you say
And plead for others when you pray
That their hearts would melt from stone.
