How great and how big and how awesome you are.
Fourteen billion light years is not very far
for your almighty arm to easily reach,
for the walls that we build you to easily breach.
And yet you don’t force us to worship you Lord.
You love and forgive us to get us on board.
But if we went silent from sin or from doubt,
you’d still get your praise when the rocks would cry out.
For your pleasure we’re made in the image of you.
For your pleasure it’s your saints that you operate through.
Through the cross you forgave, but also you healed.
Now the Spirit delivers what Jesus revealed.
You show us your heart, hold us in your power.
You dwell in our lives, not some distant tower.
You provide on the path, give all that we need.
When you mend us, oh Lord, we are mended indeed.
